Helping the Addicted

This can be a lifetimes work. for many, even after an experience and a relationship with Jesus something to which they will continue to struggle with. The difficulty as always will be for those on the outside understanding this and not allowing themselves to be overly affected by the failures. I can only speak from my own experiences of working with the addicted for over ten years. What i have learnt is that it must be about relationships, whether with the homeless on the streets or those in accomodation. Also for many as for me sometimes it will be a daily struggle. In addition, that relapse is a part of the process and must be learned from and the expeinces built upon.

Besides the ministry of The Way Ihave been involved with the Worthing for the Worthing Churches Homless Projects and Yeldall Manor a Drug rehabiliation centre in Berkshire. I am currently involved with a small charity in Reading, FAITH Christian Group.
